Remember the big blizzards of 1977~1978 in the Midwest?

In 1979, another big storm threatened WV--I was in Marietta,
listening to Marietta-OHIO- station WMOA when the EBS system
interrupted programming to carry an emergency warning issued
by then-WV governor Jay Rockefeller.

The Marietta station carried the warning because 2 years
earlier we arranged to monitor each other in the two-state
metro area.

The Gorman-Redlich is $1,350 list; the Sage is almost
exactly twice the cost at $2,695, the Digital Alert looks to
be about $2,200.  So $2,700 for two G/R add-on boxes vs.
$5,400 for two new Sage boxes.
