[BC] What brought me into radio

Nope, it's all of us, sigh!

Add fan-less computers with SSD's and nothing moves or makes noise anymore. 
Dead quiet except for the mice scurrying around as usual.  At the TX site 
unless you have high power on your AM, no singing coils, just the soft 
whisper of a muffin fan cooling the 1kW SS PA.  Yup, the thrill is gone. 
Not even the tick of the Western Union clock and its periodic spring 
re-winder running off of a big hot shot dry cell battery.  Most everything 
has gone silently to software ones and zeros.

I guess we're ancients.  Who would have thought all of this technology would 
become so obsolete in such a short space on our Facebook time-lines?  :-)
