[BC] Headphone advice wanted

I agree that sounding natural, conversational, is important in radio since
it is such a personal up close medium for the listener. Thus, talking in a
room normally without monitoring every syllable uttered is a better style.
When I've instituted monitor dimming instead of muting so that headphones
were unnecessary, staff hated it! Even with obvious "on-air" illuminated
signs they wanted total muting. They refused to get used to dimming, too
confusing.
