BIX, 110 and Krone all provide much better density and are generally neater and more organized than a 66 block install. I try to avoid 110 blocks because of the two part design but BIX and 110 installs are more compact than Krone. Krone has the advantage of having all connections on the front where with BIX the multipair is on the bottom. That requires punching the multipair backwards so the pairs are correct once the block is flipped over. It is a little easier to establish parallel connections with BIX if the initial install is properly planned. This can also be done with Krone using a slightly different approach but it takes up twice the space. Both Krone and BIX accept stranded wire. I can not even remember how much stranded Beldin and Gotham Audio cable I have punched on BIX blocks. One of the good and bad things about Krone is the ability to punch two cables in the same clip. It has advantages but can lead to a hard to trace mess if used improperly. But any of the three is superior to 66 blocks.
