Great reference to FRC Gen Order 32 - although I think the order removed 109
stations from the air to reduce interference with other stations.  Those
"other stations" however were predominantly network stations.  Probably not
coincidentally, NBC set up its coast-to-coast network (the Red, Blue and
Orange networks) by the end of 1928, that same year.
