[BC] FCC politics

The FCC has always been empowered and directed by Congress and as such has been far from neutral in how it handed out policy over the years.  In the early days of my career it was not unusual to have your congressman lobby for you if you had something pending at the FCC for that very reason. Those who are under the impression the FCC acts neutrally and fairly in their proceedings also think that their FDIC insured deposits are safe... LOL.
