My Manhattan MPEG receiver works excellently with the two 85cm and two 90
cm Ku Band antennas I have. The
85cm antennas each have two LNBFs on them for adjacent satellites. The
four Ku-band antennas are fixed position
which works best for me. My 1.8 meter (6 ft.) fiberglass antenna is 30
years old and still works just fine on C-band.
It is motorized and set up for both C Band and Ku Band using a
Chaparral Co-rotor II feed . I have watched plenty
of network programs on C Band with my 1.8 meter system. Satellite
selection is programmed into the Manhattan
MPEG receiver. I built my own positioner/controller for the 1.8 meter
antenna. FWIW, one of the KU Band antenna
LNBFs is for receiving music programming from WCPE-FM. There's lots of
free radio programming on satellite.
