 The rules also specifically state something like "as indicated on a Type Approved" modulation monitor sso the semi-peak indications of the meter and the peak indication of the "lamp" now LED are all considered in the rules.
 
 As someone who used to calibrate modulation monitors, I claim that the Bessel-null methods using a steady-state tone are adequate.
