We don't need any more government than we already have to deal with pirates
if we changed the laws to allow for 'private attorneys general' lawsuits
like there is with environmental law. By allowing for seizure of property,
including rented real estate to enforce judgments, the pirates would be gone
as soon as the greedy lawyers can file the papers and collect their fees!
Of course, a better idea would be to have the FCC do the job. They have
some 6,000 employees, and if they weren't so fixated on doing the EEOC's
job, trying to regulate the internet and making sure every phone works with
every hearing aid, they could put at least another 500 people out doing
enforcement.
