Might I suggest you comment when the window is opened up and maybe if enough
folks put in their .02 worth they will back off.

If the FCC wants to know all this then they should hire local people to
visit stations to inspect, maintain and test the systems (overnight) to
ensure proper operation. EAS was forced upon broadcasters. Twice. We had to
pay for equipment, provide Internet access and monitor activity and then
find out why and log missed tests? It's gotta stop somewhere.
