[BC] New FCC Rule could affect us all

I share your humble opinion, and I dare say we are nowhere near alone.  The line has to be drawn somewhere on the FCC intrusion in our business with unfunded mandates.  

If they feel the need to monitor our activities, let them foot the bill and hire the staff to do it, not pass those costs along to the broadcasters.  Only those with their heads in the sand inside the Beltway think EAS works, the last National test was obviously not enough to let them know that the 1980 method of communicating is not effective. No amount of monitoring and reporting is going to fix a system that is broken at its core. 

I do not know how to stop that train, but there's more of us than there are of them if there was a mechanism in place to apply the brakes.
