[BC] New FCC Rule could affect us all

IMHO this proposal would set a dangerous precedent if enacted. What's next?
Remote monitoring of AM directional antenna monitor parameters or power
indications by the FCC if one or more exceeds specs? Cameras focused on AM
tower base fences? It can go to extremes once a precedent is set.

If the FCC wants to know all this then they should hire local people to
visit stations to inspect, maintain and test the systems (overnight) to
ensure proper operation. EAS was forced upon broadcasters. Twice. We had to
pay for equipment, provide Internet access and monitor activity and then
find out why and log missed tests? It's gotta stop somewhere.
