Such as??  AM, FM, other? Simple Public File maps or precision terrain 
compensated maps for FM or ground conductive factored for AM? 
Longley-Rice or another propagation model? 50/50, 90/10, 50/10?

There are a number of tools out there.  Both free and licensed.
