You could put a 1 kW BW Broadcast FM transmitter on your desk as it is only
about the size of an exciter!  Only caveat is you'll need 230 VAC on your
bench.  I use a 230 VAC outlet I ran for my amateur radio linear to test
that sort of stuff.

I tackle small stuff like exciters, processors, and mod monitors in my shop,
but the biggest broadcast transmitter that I can put on my rather small
bench is an LPB AM-
