[BC] Need AC Line Noise Suppressor

How about a simple pi filter ?
Got a couple of 1 mfd capacitors and an extra tower lighting choke ?  Some 
other similar choke ?
Or make a choke out of some #16 or #14 wire--no form required, just a buncha 
turns, ~ 6"  diameter tie-wrapped  together should do it..
Every computer power supply has some such filter, and the computer people 
have likely figured out the ideal component values,  With the ferrite core 
chokes that are used in them,  they're pretty small, size-wise. You could 
rob parts out of a dead one and rig them up in a one-space box to do 150 
watts..............
