 but you also usually have an old hand who knows better, in charge.

 I still remember my 80 foot fall back in my early 20's.
 Probably never forget.
 Not only did I survive ( obviously ) but survived with nothing more
 than a skinned knee.
 ( tower collapsed under me. I rode it down )
 That experience taught me *real* fast, that although I might be
 immortal, steel is not, and you can still be injured. Badly.
 Some years later it finally sinks in what really happened, and what
 really could have happened.
 My heart goes out to the family of that kid, and the other kids on
 that crew. They will never forget.

 There are reasons I absolutely will not tolerate a disregard for
 safety. On steel, or otherwise. At any age, or experience level.
