Yep.  I especially like the squelch feature.  I use it to kill the fan noise from my computers in my recording studio when I cut voice-overs.  If you carefully adjust the depth and threshold, it doesn't seem to affect the audio output. The only dbx feature I don't like is Overeasy. The manual says it makes a soft knee curve, but in all of mine it makes for mushy sound with hard inputs. I got a job at one of my AMs by complaining about the audio. I was invited into the studio, and immediately released the Overeasy button, and -- voila! -- much better, thank you!  Let it work as a hard limiter.  It ain't an Optimod, but it's a whole lot better than nothing, especially for $100 bucks.
