I gave a little over $400 for my favorite radio at the time, an Alinco
DJ-580, in 1992.  It was my first-ever HT and I carried it everywhere
I went.

I am completely out of touch with whatever the new reality is, because
even though I can see the prices for myself, I can't accept somehow
that this is possible.
