Well, come on, gents. Regulatory agencies are about laws and law
enforcement. None of these cases seem unfair to me. If you own a trucking
business, you must employ drivers with valid CDL licenses and obey all kinds
of US and state DOT laws and regs. What's the big deal here with radio
stations? Ignorance of the law is never an excuse for breaking the law. If
owners and their proxies and legal beagles are ignorant, they get caught and
pay fines. That's the way it is and should be, and I have no sympathy for
the blissfully ignorant. Imagine owning a radio station and not having the
keys to the tower for five years! Prima facia manifestation of brain death.
Ever see Watter's World on O'Reilly's TV show? The similarities to Watter's
typical person-in-street interviews is striking -- most of them don't even
know what Obama Care is.
