[BC] DST for the rest of you

Do you remember President Nixon signing the Emergency Daylight Saving Time Energy Conservation Act?  1974 and 1975 had extra months of DST.

I seem to recall the same thing. It wasn't just Minnesota
however...though they were the biggest state to bellow. Folks all along
and north of the 43nd parallel from Maine to Washington screamed child
safety in the morning for not having 12 month DST.
