Try contacting a local motor repair shop, and it may be quicker for them to repair the motor.  I had a similar problem with the blower motor for an HT-10 and I got the motor repaired and only paid a bit more for rush service.  It was much less expensive than buying a new motor at $1500 versus $120 for the repair.

After many conversations with Harris it has been discovered the Baldor unit is listed as obsolete by the manufacturer and a new unit many not be available anymore.  Newer versions of the Z-5 used a GE model but the wiring is not the same so it is not a replacement for the Baldor unit.  Does anyone have any information that may lead me to a source for the Baldor unit?
