That was a lucky find! Do you know of anywhere I could buy one new? or even find the plans to make one?

When I was growing up, My Grandparents had a Single Section Conical in Simpsonville that would bring in Channels 3, 4, 7, 9, and 13 on a Zenith 21" Black and White Console. It did not have a UHF tuner in it, My Grandpa was too cheap to buy a Color TV until he had to in about 1980 when his B/W Zenith died and the only Console TV he could buy was Color. After a Tree killed his Conical, he got a modern Channelmaster antenna and then could only get 4, 7, 13, and a snowy 16 and 29.. This was before 21, 40, and 62 came on the air. 40 had been an Anderson UHF but was Silent for years before it came back on with a new plant.
My grandparents also had a Cabin on Lake Greenwood near Waterloo and had a Double Stacked Conical that got 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, 12, and 13 on a GE 21" B/W Console that also did not have a UHF tuner in it. Now my Uncle lives in the same spot and gave up on OTA TV and put in Dish.
