The solution is easy. Download the .net from the Microsoft website or 
Google ,net 4.0 there are many places where it can be found.  Get a 
cross over cable so the computer and the Easycast can connect directly 
to each other. Hopefully you know the value of the third octet of the 
10.1 IP if that is the case, just assign and arbitrary 10.1 address to 
the computer temporarily.

If the network has very basic equipment, just plug in the Easycast and 
change the computer IP. It will work despite the address being wrong. 
BTW using an IP like 192.168.xx.xx is not the best practice. It is 
better to use 10.xx.xx.xx
