As someone who worked for Barix over 3 years doing customer support,I can tell
you they make a solid product. Their Achillies heel is their firmware, which 
can be buggy, particularly beta. Get a solid firmware on one of their units,
buffer its interfaces well and they will run for months/years without
problem.

We use the Barix 100s...haven't had a problem for years. We are extremely
happy with Barix!
