Shades of my misspent youth at WHAT 1340 Philadelphia in the early 1960s.  We bought the new Gates Solid Statesman, cranked it up, and referred to it as the 'Distortion-max'.  After a week or so, we disabled that damned relay since it didn't seem to do anything audible.  Thanks for the memories, every 30 minute readings and all!

PS:  We caught the overnight guy pre-filling all the readings for his shift. Fired his butt immediately.
