[BC] Directional Antenna Proofs - Ground systems.

I may have missed one, but I don't believe the FCC has ever approved a  
elevated only ground system.

All of the elevated systems have been built over (frequently bad)  
buried ground systems.  It is a quick and inexpensive fix.

Another problem with elevated systems that Curt missed (and I am  
amazed he did) is the problem of copper theft.

One can only hope the thief tries to start at the far end of a radial  
thus getting a nasty shock or even a burn.  The sad thing would be if  
they start on a wood or fiberglass ladder.  Then again, when they go  
to pick it up off the ground things will get exciting.
