JimT:

If you read the life history of Lee DeForest -- self-proclaimed Father of
Radio -- the comparisons are strikingly similar. A cantankerous old coot
who stridently believed that everything surrounding the art of radio had
been conceived and invented by him, and that everyone else was a detractor
and intellectual property thief intent upon depriving him of his just
deserts and glory. The stories seem identical. There are psychiatric
descriptors for this behavior.

>For some reason he launched off on a tirade about how people didn't
understand him, how he had been cheated, and on and on.
