Yep.
I read about an Armstrong FM demonstration being done in Boston. They were
receiving the FM from Paxson, MA some 40 miles away. A newspaper reporter
arrived late and found the door locked and heard hammers and saws inside. He
assumed he had come to the wrong place and left. It turns out the hammers and
saws *were* part of the demonstration! They sounded so lifelike that he
believed they were happening on the other side of the door.

I remember back in the 50's when FM sounded pretty open and almost had a
3-Dimensional sound. Of course it was mono, but it had a full sound. Now
that we've improved it by mashing the Pee out of it and making it piercing,
we're looking for ways to make it even better.
