Birmingham was the pioneer 50 designed and built by the Brennans.
Chattanooga was the WE 50 that came out of WTOP in DC. The WAPE Brennan
could do 100 KW at the slight twist of the driver control on the operators
right equipment rack. This power was sometimes used at sign off/switch
facilities time when the "Ape Call" was summoned.
