If it was similar to the Chattanooga WFLI and Birmingham WVOK Billy  
Benns transmitters, it could do a "slight bit" more than 50KW.

I got to see the VOK transmitter ( water cooled ) a year or so before  
it was replaced with a MW50.

Pre-MW50, someone could drive a car from north Georgia to north  
Mississippi and would never have to change off of "The Mighty 690".

When the MW50 was installed, WVOK became more of a local Birmingham station.
