At our sites I've incorporated a four channel DA feeding the SAGE audio inputs. With that I can adjust the levels accurately. The guidelines insist that the audio not peak above -8 on the levels screen. According to the new levels window with V. 89 of the firmware, that is still too high, but I have had no trouble with that setting. The new firmware now allows individual attenuation of each audio input.
A product that would be good for the SAGE would be a PCB with multi-turn trim pots and isolation transformers for each of the inputs. It could have the identical connectors as the SAGE and just plug into the rear. That would isolate the sensitive inputs from lightnig spikes and ground loops, and allow precise input level adjustment.

" In my experience that only happens if the audio level going into the Sage is set too high. Rob
