My Wife and both of my Parents are the same way: The Duck Farts are a Signal to go button pushing or pop in a CD. If they were driving Head-On into a Twister, they would never know it.

That is the exact reason my Father Dropped Cable and got Satellite TV.

Because they are worthless as an Alert. The days of Full Service Radio Stations with a "Live & Local" News Department are dead and gone. They got replaced by a computer and an over-used EAS Box.
