Then, it would seem that our industry has indeed outlived it's usefulness when our own people suggest that the public should turn elsewhere for news and information that has long been provided by us until recently.

Corporate has eliminated local news and any form of creative entertainment. Cellphones and NOAA have eliminated the need for broadcasters in sending emergency messages (even though there are far more broadcast receivers in the handay of the public than there are weather radios)...

Other than selling adds to enhance the corporate bottom line, why are we hear, again?
