An Important Announcement from Jim Doggett, SVP, Chief Technology Risk Officer and Interim Chief Information Security Officer:
Hacked External Accounts Could Present Risk to You and KP: Change Your Passwords Today!
Recently, several large non-KP websites were hacked, compromising personally identifiable information for millions of people. Such incidents have been occurring more frequently, and the latest targets include (but are likely not limited to) LinkedIn, eHarmony and LastFM. If you have an account with any of these companies, please change your password on their website now.
2) Consider using a password manager to help you create strong passwords and keep track of them. LastPassis a good choice: it is free and supports multiple platforms (including PC, BlackBerry, Android, iPhone and other iOS)
(3) Change your passwords any time there is a notification about a website being hacked, or sensitive information being exposed.
(4) Never share your password with others or write it down.
Other stuff pertains to doctors
Hope this adds to the discussion
Jeff
