As I understand it, the only difference between a new box and a 
converter, is that the converter can't relay video.

The FCC will have three years to think about that: requiring radio to BE 
ABLE TO relay video with its box.

I have six of them to buy so its the difference between buying 7K worth 
of Gorman converters, or 14K worth of new boxes.  The 
boat-anchor-designation is not assured.
