 Got an old Debian BUZZ system ( circa 1996 ) that still does just what it's supposed to do.
 A number of Slackware, and a couple odds and ends.

 I've said it before, absent a *compelling* reason, I never do updates, automatic
 or otherwise.
 The exception is the virus database on any Microsoft machine, and that's updated
 almost ( scary ) daily.

 Still, I found XP quite good as Microsoft goes.
 Disappointed in Win7, largely for non-compatibility with Microsoft reasons, so far.
