All correspondence relating to matters pending before the FCC must be in the PF. Settled matters can be removed from the PF. Such as a violations process completed or an application ruled upon and not appealed.

Case in point, we just moved the main studios of 6 stations. The informal filing of the address and phone number change is a mere notification. However, because of the transition period of when notifications are received and then actually placed into the record, counsel advised we should place a date stamped copy advising of the move in the PF for 90 days or so. This would cover any inspections occur before the local office receives the new addresses of record.
