The digital TX output power is 1.5KW so the existing analog transmitter 
would have to be rated at 2.5 KW or more if it is to be converted to 
digital. The antenna will have to be replaced and depending on the 
existing TX output, there is a remote possibility of replacing the 
transmission line.  Other than that an up converter, encoder and digital 
exciter is all that is required and it can all the at the TX.
There a lot of stations around that have done a minimal conversion. I 
was recently at one where all they did was an up conversion. The studio 
equipment has remained unchanged for decades. If the plant remains all 
analog, I would suggest a good real time CALM compliant leveling at the 
studio.
