Depending on the station, you mean STL's (plural).

I really depends on the infrastructure available at both ends. My
preference where possible is to have a wired ***and*** wireless means. And
by wirless, I refer to owning the equipment and a licensed path.

I would shy away from anything 802.1 for a primary STL.  If you're really
that interested in an AoIP wireless STL, look at licensing a 6Ghz system.
