and

(find the right pack for your UPS unit)
Depending on the needed AH rating (and the original battery pack), most
packs run about $12 to just over $60; there's a couple of packs that
have their own housing that are higher because of that. I replaced one
of my Smart-UPS 750's batteries with the Gruber replacements about a
year ago, still running fine, and at max load! I'm going to be
replacing the other one's batteries this spring. Takes the RBC-22;
$26.80 plus shipping
Meanwhile, try this: Pull the battery pack from the non-working UPS.
Pull the connector cable and the fuse jumper from between the two
batteries, and use an overnight trickle charger to see if the gel cell
is bad, marginal, or good.
Another source would be Batteries Plus, if there's one in your
neighborhood, although they're prices are per battery, not for the pack,
so come out higher, even allowing for shipping.
Staples closest UPS to mine without going over was about $90; next one
up was double mine for $200.
And their replacement battery packs were even higher than Batteries Plus...
Hope that helps somewhat!
