Ed,
I started a radio station, WKHS-FM, at Kent County High School across the bay near Chestertown back in 1974. It's 17.5Kw at 90.5.
Back then editing consisted of an Edit-all bar and 1/4" tape, so production was basic to say the least.
The station was staffed by students in the radio broadcasting program which was part of the vocational education department along with electronics, graphics, agriculture, carpentry and auto mechanics.
The program is still going, so they might have some ideas about texts for use in an educational environment.
I've been away from the area for several years and really haven't kept up with who's there or what's going on, so I don't have any names to provide for contact info.

Good luck,
