I suspect that if you do the research, it's not beancounters
at all, but enviro-wackos seeking to reduce your "carbon
footprint" by having the machine ( which is obviously *so*
much smarter than you are ) turn itself off to save on
burning coal at the generating plant when the computer is
*obviously* not being used, since there has been no
human interaction for a while.
