Something to think about ... and perhaps comment.
Many radio and television stations have long suppressed news stories
that might embarrass a good client.
Now, social media seems to be having another effect. The ability of
the texters to flood social media and websites have made more
than a few of them "snake-bit" and afraid to confront local
problems.

Question: how does your station react to local issues?
Do you note them in the Public File and then say, on the air, "be nice" ... and
leave it at that? Sadly, under consolidation, this is more common than
ever before.
What does your station/cluster do to improve the local area?
