[BC] Maintanence Log

Back when, the maintenance logs I made (and in a couple of cases, had
printed to match the operating log) included everything the operating
log did, plus spaces for all the other metering on the transmitter(s),
properly identified - eg: IPA Ep _____ Volts DC - and anything else that
might be unique to that station: Tower light checks for each tower
separately, monitor point readings, etc., for an AM DA, remote metering
before and after calibration vs actual TX metering, and a host of others
(Optimod +15V; -15V; Modulation normal Y/N; you name it.) One page, one
weekly inspection (and a check if the monthly readings were also
present. One maintenance log I did had the MP readings across the
bottom of the page, printed in landscape mode on legal-size paper. Kept
'em on a 14" clipboard.).

If I were to design one today, I'd probably start with a blank page in
Open Office's SCALC and go from there (in other words, a blank
spreadsheet) with what the FCC requires, then whatever else seems like
useful info to keep track of for future diagnostics.

Public File present and up to date (Y/N)

Air filters cleaned / changed (Y/N)

and so forth. But as several have mentioned, each station will be
somewhat unique beyond the bare bones.
