Pull the battery and Put it in a jar of rice immediately, or if you don't have
that, put it in the freezer until you can get some rice.
The biggest mess I even had to deal with was when Steve Harvey spilled a pint
cup of white grape juice into a Pacific Radiomixer during his show on The Beat
in Los Angeles.
What a mess! Took half a day to get that board back on air and destroyed a
mike module completely.
I had to pull every module plus the motherboard and clean with distilled water
and denatured alcohol.
Talk about sticky-and sugar water conducts electricity almost as well as a
copper wire.

This has nothing to do with any emergency I have, just some things I saw at
CES.
Has anyone recently dealt with a cell phone (theirs, family, co-workers') that
was
dropping in water? Other portable electronics?
