Keeping in mind that, as mentioned by Dana, certification requirements are different for part 74 vs 73... we discovered with the VS series that a transmitter that is type notified and approved for broadcast use can NOT be used for licensed LPFM stations - it does require an entirely different approval process. In our particular situation, power line filtering requirements were significantly different between the two; necessitating physical changes to the box. You need to have the part 74 sticker on the back if you're going to use it for an LPFM.
