I saw the WHO at 44 both half time and rehersal. There was a lot of criticism at the time. They were mostly tracked as well.

The Like a Prayer portion of the Madonna show was mostly live.

It is pretty amazing to see what goes into setting up the halftime show in the alotted time. What reflects well for Madonna is that it was easily the most complex halftime production ever and Madonna and her producer of 13 years had total control. Tecnically the execution was perfect.

The show is not about the music it is about the energy and being the best spectical possible.

I critique based on technical execution and production values.

I recall last year a lot of discussion about the halftime show in the superbowl, and not a peep this year. I read Madonna nearly tumbled four times, I noticed one. And it had the appearance to me that it was all canned & lipsynched. I also missed the #1 that was on the news. Then seeing lost of comments this morning of people who liked it. It did nothing for me, but then I'm not they could ever improve on The Who from 44 for me. Anyone else have comments or notice glitches?
