As this is an "emergency antenna", anything goes. They are broadband. So
why not try it. Simply use a VERY wide pipe/tube to increase bandwidth
further for the 6Mhz span.

HOWEVER, as others have noted, this antenna is very bi-directional when
used in a H pol mode.  And the RFR issues immediately above and below the
radiating elements of a fully wave antenna would be certain enough reason
to pause and consider those issues.
