Some years ago staffers at our station were getting
Spam and sexually oriented emails from other staffers.
Some of them didn't even know the other's email
addresses. Our FM PD asked me if he should say "OK"
to a file that wanted to clear a Read Only attribute on
a file on our Computer Concepts ACP Server. I told
him "absolutely NOT!".

These emails were from the hijacked address book of
our GM, whose home E-Machine's antivirus subscription
had expired. It was from those addresses that the malware
was spreading. Had the PD clicked "OK" our entire ACP
Server for three stations plus all workstations would have
been infected.

When the GM brought the E-Machine for repair he was told
over 1000 files were infected so he just trashed the computer.....
