Chip opines:  "It just amazes me that people don't run the proper security software on their machines."

You see this all the time on the 'net:  "I've NEVER gotten a virus, so I don't bother with antivirus software."  Someone else asks, "If you got one, how would you know?"  Cue the crickets.
